Well I wish you best of luck. it's a very different operating system than windows, however windows can be boot camped installed to a mac. I'm sure you will do fine. I have given it some serious thought myself. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Vanderlitz" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 23, 2015 5:16 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and OpenBook version 7
Trish: That's great news. I haven't gone to Openbook 9 as I am about to buy a Mac and learn how to use it so I have no idea how I will scan and read, etc. I know talking about a Mac might be a terrible heresy to talk about here but I am so unhappy with both Microsoft and JAWS that I am about to Linda jump ship (smile). To err is human but to really mess things up, one needs a computer. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Trish" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 23, 2015 3:32 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and OpenBook version 7 > Hi Linda, > > I use OB 9 with window's 7, and was thrilled to find the setting to scan > in > "edit" mode same as I did in OB 7. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Linda Vanderlitz" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, February 23, 2015 4:13 PM > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and OpenBook version 7 > > > Mike: > > After I got over my mad because Openbook 7 wouldn't work on my 64 bit > Windows 7 Home laptop, I just installed Openbook 8 and it worked.
