Hello Gang: I got a refurbished Windows 7 machine last year to replace an xp. Two people have tried to upgrade to something higher than IE 9. Neither was successful. One of those techs was at the MS Accessibility desk. They got IE 11, but it was unuseable, as in could not use the bank web site plus others. I called MS back to roll it back to IE 9. Now, I have no problems. Not sure what I am going to do with this news! Neil

Beginning on that date, IE 10 and earlier will no longer be supported for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. So now may be a good time to upgrade to IE 11 if you have not already done so, or consider switching to Firefox full time if you are having trouble with IE 11.
