I could be wrong, but in a set of recommended JAWS settings I have somewhere from Freedom Scientific, the Windows Classic style is recommended, rather than the XP style on the appearance page. That's what I have, and I have no problems. Knock on wood.

This should not be the case and if it is on your system, you should advise Freedom Scientific immediately because it is their desire and intent that JAWS function with the _default_ Windows XP settings and using Windows Classic in Display Options for Appearance is not the default. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lois Butterfield" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2006 5:55 AM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] OE Problems Now. Hi Victor, I just went to the display and tried to see what I had done before to cause the problem, and I believe it was I changed to xp on the appearance tab. It needs to be on windows classic. Make sure you're not on windows xp.
