If you do not want to make a new group that permanently resides in your 
address book, all you do is address the message to all of the people you 
want to send the message to.  If you want to make a new group and name the 
group, go to the address book and then go down the file menu to "new group" 
and follw the directions.  I have personally found this group creation to be 
a cumbersome process that should be simpler, but you go with what you have, 
right?  Hope this helps although I sense that you have more to your question
