Hi Lois, I couldn't go into the msconfig window to uncheck it because it's my Norton autoprotect feature.
Unfortunately, this proved to be futile because a virus I had on my computer managed to disable it without my knowledge and I didn't notice it until it was too late. suffice it to say, I've did the virus scan, and have managed to quarantine it, so now I have to go find the darn thing so I can delete it. anyone have any idea where Norton puts the quarantined items it puts there?
