An updated JAWSVid.dll file is available at:

ftp://ftp.freedomscientific.com/users/hj/private/WebFiles/Tools/FSVideoIntercept.exe

This program, which you run after downloading, will replace the version
10.12.590 of JAWSVid.dll that was installed with JAWS 7.10 with a new
version 10.12.597. While this new version should be backward compatible with
earlier versions of JAWS, I do not know if it will install directly into
versions before 7.10, since 7.10 uses the Microsoft Installer (as does this
new file) and I'm not sure if that type of installation is compatible with
older versions of JAWS.

Only install this driver if you are encountering problems with JAWSVid. If
you don't know whether you are or not, you almost certainly are not and
don't need this file. It contains a fix for the problems I reported a couple
of weeks ago regarding the latest version (6.8) of ATI Catalyst video
drivers with JAWS, among other issues.
