Honestly I don't remember reading such a post. Like I said last night in my own defense I probably read over 100 emails a day so it could have slipped past me. The only issue I'm having like was previously stated is the focus problem when opening an email. Obviously this can be a major problem for a guy who moderates up to 3 mailing lists on a good day. David - I thought that I'd posted here about my terrible experience trying to install and use the most recent (version 6.8) drivers from ATI for my Radeon X800 SE video card, but I posted that warning to several lists and honestly can't remember if this list was one, although I think it was. Basically, after installation of these drivers, each time you reloaded JAWS, the JAWS error message stating that video support was not installed would pop up, even though JAWS was actually loaded. I warned people who might be inclined to install the ATI Catalyst drivers version 6.8 not to do so and this new JAWSVid supposedly corrects this problem. I haven't yet tried to re-install that level of the ATI Catalyst drivers, but will probably do so later today and will report my experience here. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Ferrin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 18, 2006 10:32 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] New JAAWSVid.dll file available from Freedom Scientific What issues are you referring to Walt? I don't remember reading anything about such things. In my own defense I probably read over 100 emails a day.
