Peggy, I am guessing that what you want to do is minimize your JAWS window, and not close it. When JAWS is your active window, do the following:
Press Alt+Space to open the "System Menu" for the JAWS window. Press the letter n to minimize the window. Now keep in mind that if you use the Alt+Tab to move between the currently open programs, you can open the JAWS window back up. Personally, I like to have JAWS running out of the system tray, and not have it as a window that I have to mess with every time I'm looking for a different program that I have open. Let me know if you need more help. I am not very familiar with the PC keyboard, and I did something to my Jaws software that I don't know how to fix. When I start my computer the Jaws window is open, but when I close it Jaws stops talking. Also, when I press the letter "J" to try to find Jaws, nothing happens. How can I fix this? Thanks.
