Here are the steps for putting jaws to sleep in certain applications. This is done from whatever application you want jaws to sleep in. The first time you do this it may ask you to name the configuration file, if it does just hit enter for the default.
1. hit insert f2 to access jaws manager, 2. select configuration manager 3. hit alt s for settings manager 4. hit A to select advance options 5 check the box that says enable sleep mode 6. click ok 7. hit alt f4 to close configuration manager, and select yes to save the changes.
