get to the desktop, arrow around until you find the shortcut that you want 
to delete, and press the delete key to put it in the recycle ben, or press 
shift plus delete to remove the shortcut completely, which is probably the 
prefered option since you can always recreate the shortcut later from 
windows explorer should you begin to use the program more regularly.

Hello everyone,
I have some programs on my desktop that I don't hardly use.  I would like to 
remove the programs from my desktop, but not from my computer.  If someone 
could tell me how to do this I would really appreciate it.  I have windows 
XP home, and I am running jaws 6.0.
