Hi Lisa, First, make sure that the item you want to delete is only a shortcut. You can do this by selecting the item, and pressing alt enter, to get the properties. If it is a shortcut, when you open the properties you will be on the shortcut tab. Once you have verified that it is a shortcut, press escape to close the properties. Hello everyone, I have some programs on my desktop that I don't hardly use. I would like to remove the programs from my desktop, but not from my computer. If someone could tell me how to do this I would really appreciate it. I have windows XP home, and I am running jaws 6.0.
