Hi Lisa,

Just select the shortcut on your desktop and hit delete. You will hear a
message saying that you are only deleting the shortcut, not the program,
which is just what you wanted.

Take care,
Lois

Subject: [jaws-users] Deleting short cut from the desktop.

Hello everyone,
I have some programs on my desktop that I don't hardly use. I would like to
remove the programs from my desktop, but not from my computer. If someone
could tell me how to do this I would really appreciate it. I have windows
XP home, and I am running jaws 6.0.
Take care,
Lisa
