Hi, sorry but the author of the post doesn't mention HP-UX at all... he moves away from Tru64 and installs AIX T24 to AIX server.

Have you done the upgrade of your older area using temp.release or just extracted the temp.release? Also - when you are in debugger type the command: j -g and post the output here.
