Please - knock it off. You raised a stink - and said over and
over again that people should ask the source. They did, and he gave an
answer. Now you're saying they must not have asked it right? If we try
again, are you just going to say that it must have been Tom Cruise in a
Stallman mask?
I think you've made your point that you don't believe the project
is using the license in an appropriate way. However, a large number of
the *actual developers*, including all the members of the jBoss Board,
have reached the opposite conclusion - in conjunction with the references
you are citing, among others.
Not everyone agrees that the solution is optimal (personally, I
feel that the solution is adequate but not optimal). However, the
decision has been made to seek permission of the authors to switch to
LGPL, and there are no alternatives on the table.
If you are still interested in debating license issues, please
find another forum (such as [EMAIL PROTECTED]). If you just want
to make noise on the jBoss Developer mailing list, please put your source
code where your mouth is.
