if you really believe this then you may want to take that advice. I am sure
they will set you right. You never know - you may even get the ammunition
you need to disprove me ;) ... then again you also may find their
interpretation matches my interpretation (because basically I am paroting
their line).

As I said before it is a violation of (L)GPL. If you make another release
where you disregard the law then I will do a little more than keep a lid on
it.

It is nothing about my belief but GNUs believe (I think ;]) which is based
presumably on their lawyers interpretations which may hold just a little
weight. Why do you not approach them? If I am wrong you get to jump up and
down pointing out how wrong I am, if not ... ;)
