I am being paid to Debianize jboss. So that is what I am working on. I am doing this for 2.4.3(and soon, will migrate to 2.4.4), as that is the stable released version of jboss. I am not being paid to work on jboss 3.0. So, anything I do for that version will be done in my spare, free time. Seeing as how I am also a Debian developer, and I do that in my free time, jboss 3.0 gets no portion.
