Hmm. I like new tech as much as the next geek, but can't help but
notice that the technologies mentioned for inclusion in jBoss reads
like a laundry list from Sun's website! Geez, do you really want to
throw everything in there and increase the hardware requirements
for a few nifty features?!?
Jini looks cool from the admittedly little I've seen. But I'm using
multicast sockets on a project now in a manner similar to bootp, to
allow clients and servers to locate each other. Very low overhead
and it works perfectly.
Correct me if I'm wrong, here. Its not meant to be flame-bait. :-P
