That is a terrible idea. All options are useful for different scenarios. A
is "db-shared" false, and C is "db-shared" true, but B is also useful. I say
we fix the docs instead.

Yes, but let's do a solution instead of a workaround. Either fix clear docs
for commit-option or introduce aliases. Don't remove B. Removing features is
just silly.
