I haven't had time to put together a test case yet. If you want to do that, I'm sure Scott, et al would be happy to look at it. If not, I'll be working on it sometime this week.
As far as this being default behavior, that was discussed previously and it sounds like they have some pretty good reasons to offer both sets of functionality.
