OK, so you were reacting to the input from Gus. That sure contains a lot of ideas that go far beyond what I originally proposed in the mega thread.
I also realize now that this summary wiki page <https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/2.0+Website> could read as if the Gus vision is our plan of record, which is not the case.
