Hi Denis,

With the experience we have on some NMS and Jess, you may have some
problems depending on the "realtime" you expect. Jess is a very good expert

system shell, but from my point of view not designed to support the flow of

alarms than a NMS may receive when a problem occurs. Of course it depends
on the number of rules you would like to be used and on the available
memory you may have on your system.
  One solution if your NMS allows it, is to use a distributed approach
and develop several Jess applications interacting with the local managers
of your NMS.
