Dear Friend, As children of the Lord, we should always keep in mind that we are called to be a victorious people. The Lord has instilled great dreams and aspirations within each of our hearts, but it is up to us whether those dreams are realized. The Bible declares in Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... This scripture does not specify success or failure, but it tells us that whatever we think in our hearts, that is true. We must make up our minds and see our dreams being realized. We cannot have a vision of defeat in our minds and think our dreams will come to pass. God says in Genesis 11:6 And now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Encourage yourself in the Lord and imagine your dreams coming true. Believe the Lord's Word and see yourself prospering and successful in every area of life. (Romans 12:3-8) I hope you are encouraged by today's message to continually dream big dreams and know that you are called to be victorious and triumphant over every obstacle that comes your way. GROW GREAT BY DREAMS The question was once asked of a highly successful businessman: How have you done so much in your lifetime? He replied, I have dreamed. I have turned my mind loose to imagine what I wanted to do. Then I have gone to bed and thought about my dreams. In the night I dreamt about my dreams. And when I awoke in the morning, I saw the way to make my dreams real. While other people were saying, 'You can't do that, it isn't possible,' I was well on my way to achieving what I wanted. As Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the U.S., said: We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day, or in the red fire on a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nourish them through bad days until they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. So please, don't let anyone steal your dreams, or try to tell you they are too impossible. Sing your song, dream your dreams, hope your hope and pray your prayer. Continue to dream your dreams and get it in your mind that with God all things are possible to those who believe. Believe in yourself and trust that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or even think. Psalm 145:14-19 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon Thee; and Thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them. Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
