God forbid a small company or some other open-source group gets a hold of the standard early-on and does something meaningful with it. Maybe even accelerates the process. I mean, where is the money it that for the big boys who use the JCP for grand standing there "dedication" to open-source. Okay, I'll get off my soap box now ;) > >Are there any documentation of the JSR 168 / Portlet API 2 ? > >Differs the API from IBM Portlet API (or Jetspeed branch portletapi2) or > >nearly the same ? AFAIK, JSR 168 is completely different than that of the proposal within the Jetspeed CVS. As Andrew said, everyone, including David is under NDA, so I doubt you will find that JSR 168 is in sync with anything that already exist, either from IBM or Jetspeed.
