From what I read at jakarta-general, it look like new projects will
start life at incubator.apache.org, to move elsewhere when they grow up.

I don't feel particularly bad about it, since I'm Scorpio
(http://www.starlightastrology.com/scorpio-pluto.htm), and thus I'm
already associated with Pluto. Charon just spins close to it ;-)
Seriously, I don't know anything about where the name comes from.
