Deb - I hear ya about living in the same spot for 20 years -  get this - I live in the house I grew up in - my mom moved out when I got married in 71 - I've lived here over 40 years - complete with folks inherited stuff and even my ex husbands stuff - plus both boys moved in with someone who already has stuff - so their "hope chests" are still in the attic -   and I have no basement - so usually there is a big box mountain in the dining room when I'm trying to go thru stuff -   think I took care of that problem as the box mountain won't fit with the new dining room set my best friend passed on to me before moving to AZ next week.   Wish ya a lot of patience and fortitude as you continue on your decluttering journey.   Shirl in Cleveland
