list, and the topic of clutter control came up, and I mentioned how wonderful
JFC is, and gave the link to the list.
As a fellow
eBayer... I can commiserate with the problems involved with lack of free space
and the clutter that comes with doing online auctions.
I'm new here...but have slated one day of this weekend to clear a portion of the basement for a hot water heater. We've had nothing but tepid showers for years because there has been no where to PUT a hot water heater, well, enough is enough! This is the weekend that all that will change!Good for you! There is nothing like a HOT shower to ease tired and achy muscles.
Just clearing one portion of the basement will be a Big Job, because of course there is no free space anywhere else for all the stuff, so really, several areas will need to be decluttered and cleared...sigh...I'm getting the shakes just thinking about it!Bettye, our motto here is "baby steps". Tell us what area you are working on, and we will be with you every "step" of the way with encouragement and suggestions.You can also issue a "challenge"... You post when you are going to be working and what you will be doing... and other members will work with you... and then everyone reports back with their accomplishments. Some how it helps to know that you aren't suffering alone! :) Oops... I mean slaving... No, I mean pleasantly working... No, I was right the first time... I mean suffering! ;)
Anyway, that's my project...do you guys have a photo area where you post your before and after (aka PROOF!!!) photos??We sure do, but I'm not sure if all of our photos have been moved now that we have our own domain.There is a photo album in the Members Only area of the web site:
