Hello Littermates,
I am still here. No baby yet. Although I have a new theory. He will come sometime this weekend. Why you ask? He will be his father's son, and the men in dh's family can't take a day off of work. They are what you would call workaholics. So...Saturday or Sunday (but not during the hockey game!!!!).
That said, I got quite a bit done today. I changed the beds, 2 loads of laundry, put away laundry (thank you Sherry and Pat S., thought of both of you <g>), dusted top 2 floors, vacuumed top 2 floors and steps, windexed the sawdust off of the slider <g>, windexed the coffee table, tv and entertainment center glass, got the bassinet baby ready (sheet, bumper, ect) with dd's help, dinner, dishes and patroled. Think I'm nesting? LOL
Wow. That looks like a lot, it really wasn't. I had just vacuumed on Tuesday so it wasn't bad. I dusted last week with that Orange Glo stuff and I must say the dust really didn't come back too bad (but the side table in the living room bugged me enough to dust the whole house). Plus, since I can go any day now I really don't want to leave the house a mess. <g>
Tomorrow I need to clean the bath. And my mil's mil is coming to her house (mil's house) to do laundry in the morning. I spoke with the baby and asked him to get her (mil) out of the house and to the hospital so she won't have to deal with her mil (mil's mil). Lost? Long story. But dh's grandmother (mil's mil) brings her laundry to mil's house and drives my mil nuts. I figured the baby might be willing to help her out. And score baby sitting points at the same time. <g>
Pat,
Congrats on having your grandson!!!! He can't be 1 1/2 already!! Enjoy him. Give him hugs from all of the JFC ladies (like you need an excuse, right?)
I will deal with something this weekend. Perhaps the lingerie chest that dh glued tonight. I don't know. Perhaps a deal with being in labor weekend? I hope so! LOL
See you all tomorrow.
Julie
