You will not find a tighter group of people that you have found here. We support each other, through thick and thin... we share our triumph, joys and heart aches...
Some people say... I have never met so many nice people in 'real life'.... or that we are like 'real life' friends'... You will find that this IS real life... and the friends and the bonds made here are as strong and as dear. These are 'real life' friendships.... and let me tell you... you will be hard pressed to find any better than you will find here.
I call this 'home', because that's what it has become for many of us. JFC is our home. It represents a place that we are always welcome, where we can say what we truly feel, and not worry about being judged. There is always a friendly ear, and plenty of good sense advice.
First, and foremost, there is Louise. Also known as 'Our Fearless Leader'. She will prompt you, advise you, reward you, and generally keeps us in line! LOL. She lives in Britain with her DH and dog, Hobo. Louise is an avid gardener and writer. She is loved by one and all. We all want to be Louise when we grow up. :)
Next is Sherry from Florida. She is our co-moderator. She lives with her DH, and has a son that has just finished basic training in Texas, engaged to a very sweet girl, also in the military. Sherry is the friend of all friends. She spends so much of her time taking her friends and their relatives to doctor appointments, out to lunch, here and there. She is also very active in her Church, where she spends most Saturdays working on the weekly handouts and bulletin board. We are always amazed at how Sherry will always be there for anyone who needs her. She is one wonderful lady.
Lets see.... Karen G... she is the resident cheerleader! You can always rest assured that Karen is out there with a cheer for you, no matter how small or large the accomplishment.
Pat in Canada... we love Pat. She has been known to keep us on edge with a few health problems here and there... but she is a very devout, spiritual person... you definitely want her on your team! Pat is also the moderator of our sister group, sliminators.
Vannetta is a trip! She always has a great tip and is good for keeping us motivated!
Ardella is one of our resident 'experts'.. I mean that in a very positive light! She has great tips and tricks for getting even the nastiest of jobs done frugally and well! Don't miss her posts!
Mindy is our jokester.... beware... she caries a super soaker... and just when you don't expect it... she'll blast you! LOL!!!
Jaimie is a sweetie... she always has a kind word for you... and will make you smile just to see an email with her name on it.
Margie has tons of great tips and tricks. Don't miss her posts... you can definitely learn a thing or two!
Debbie in Delaware is our volunteer over-whelmed mother of two boys with a DH, well sometimes not so dear :) She shares her hurdles with us, and is an avid out of the house volunteer. She claims that her house is the worst... but I'd bet against that! Debbie is a dear, sweet person. Once you read her posts, you are hooked, and want to follow her victories and woes... and cheer her on for each baby step she takes!
Deb in WV is vying for Saint hood ;) She ALWAYS has an ear to listen and a prayer for each of us. I count her as one of my very best friends.... and soon, you will too.
Anita in New Jersey just moved with her sometimes not so DH into the home of their dreams. She shares her joys and troubles of what a new house entails... once you read her story, you'll think twice about buying that thing that you really don't need, just in case you ever move, you'll be reminded of the toils that Anita has gone through!
Wina is here whenever she can make the time, but keeps us with us. Another super-soaker carrier... so be careful! She is living the good life in Florida with her DH and children. She has a great sense of humor, and is sure to keep you laughing.
Kathi is another cheerleader who can make you feel right at home. From the first time you read her posts... you feel like you have known her all of your life. She always has a kind word and praise for a job well done... OK.. even a job that is just started!
Joan is another sweetie. She has a beautiful spirit that shines in her posts. She also is a good one for sharing great tips for getting the jobs done that we don't want to do!
Pam and Donna are like having a best friend. They have a way of making it all make sense... they each bring a special spirit to our family here... and it wouldn't be the same without them.
Angela keeps us glued to our computers with tales of farm life. We have been privy to the birth of chicks, geese and other assorted animals. She is always up for a challenge, and will keep you on your toes!
Rebecca is a great challenger! Once you accept a challenge with her... be prepared to update frequently and get the job done! She is a great mover in our group. I dearly love Rebecca... and the way she has of motivating me, even when I don't wanna!
Rosalee has returned to the group after an absence. She is so gentle and kind. She always has an ear to listen, and some great insight.
Amy is another great cheerleader! Just when you think that no one cares... Amy does! She has a great sense of humor and can make you laugh at yourself and the place where we all are. She is very inventive, creative and bubbling with love.
As for me.... well... you already know me... but I let me hair down here... I have no inhibitions amongst these dear friends.
I know that I have missed so many of our dear lettermates... this was just off the top of my head. (And by re-reading an old email.)
What I really am trying to say is... you have come to the right place... we are as close as a family... we cheer each other one. We love, laugh and cry.... You are very fortunate to have found our little corner of the web.... please come in, make yourself at home... because you are!
