Hello Littermates,

Well, I am up and about.  Actually, I have been up and about since the day after the baby was born (and driving my mom and dad batty).  My parents are very old school and think I should be on bed rest for the postpartum period.  I got yelled at for putting my hands over my head to hang up some laundry, for going up and down the steps, and for being active.  Mind you, the doctor told me that I could start doing yoga again before I left the hospital  (I had to ask, I miss my yoga).  Other than that, I feel great.  I am back into normal clothes (yipeeeeeee!!!!!!)  I haven't done any decluttering (for obvious reasons) but my laundry is up to date and my dishes are done every night.  Of course, I don't sleep much. <G>

The decluttering should pick up soon.  We are having a terrible time with the neighborhood kids.  They play right in front of our house (townhouse) which ordinarily would not be a problem.  It is a problem when the soccer ball bounces off my front window onto dh's new (used) truck.  We have asked them nicely to not play near the house and the cars.  We have asked not so nicely.  I am ready to move.  I know dh is.  Thus the decluttering.  We may be moving sooner than we think. :)  Any suggestions on dealing with this?  Their parents don't care and are not home (latch key kids).  I have the video camera ready to go to catch them on tape so when the police come (have to call them about this today and ask them if they would respond to this) I have proof of who did what.  Also to show the parents and have someone be responsible for the damage to the cars.  GRRRRRRR.  As if a toddler and a newborn aren't! enough for me to deal with.

Oh, dd woke up on Friday with a stomach virus.  And my monitor died last week.  It was a fun week to say the least.  But ds went to the doctor for his one week weigh in.  Ready for this?  He was 5 lb 12.8 oz at birth,  5 lb 7.8 oz when we left the hospital.  Last Thursday at the doctor.....6lb 6.5oz!!!  The kid eats like there is no tomorrow.  He is gaining weight well, eating well and sleeping most of the day when I have to be awake to deal with dd.  But he sleeps for 3 hours at a time at night so I am getting rest (not as much as I would like but....you can't have it all).

That is me.  Still here.  Reading posts when I get a moment to get online.

Julie
