Adrian, But wouldn't you think that JAWS would be coded to be smart enough to use context to recognize whether something was simply misspelled versus jumping on the "it's in another language" bandwagon? Since English is one of the worst "stealers of words" and absorbing them into the language unchanged from their original spellings, it would be mighty dangerous to use anything like a single word for a language detection function.
