Brian: Yes, this arrived in JFW Digest #169 this morning. Perhaps, this not being able to "mute threads: may get the list moderator thinking about using the "full featured" digest, and not the "plain". As you pointed out, the "full feature" version is much easier to navigate, and to quote you: "The layout of the full-featured, which uses HTML e-mail format, certainly lends itself to more rapid reading and jumping from place to place once you know the basic structures surrounding each message."
Perhaps, the JFW moderator could clarify this issue for us. Jim H
