Alt D works too. If you're comfortable with it, stay with it. Alt D specifically highlights the address bar, and truthfully, so does Control L in both browsers. Most of us just learned Control O to open a website in IE back when no other browsers were accessible, so that's what we stick with. It doesn't take you to the address bar; instead, it opens a dialog for you to either enter an address or file location, or browse to a file on your computer. If you like what you're doing, keep doing it.

HI
I am sort of confused. I have always used Alt+D to go to the address bar in both IE and Firefox. What is the real command for doing this? What are the differences? Thanks for the help.

Marsha
