Sorry listers. Tried to send this to Brad Martin off list. Couldn't get
the insert 11 to pull up the to list as was recently discussed in postings.
So bear with me.

To turn off Hardware Acceleration. Followed the steps in FF but couldn't
find the general tab. Did I miss something or is there a FF trick to get to
the general tab.

Thanks

Subject: Re: Mozilla Firefox Accessibility

Paul,

As one of the people who helped to create the original Program Share for
the IAAIS, I know a bit about it, although the new and improved version
does not have my hand in it. I would think IE would work with it,
although IE 11 has issues with a lot of sites. Firefox should be a
snap. Here are a couple of things to consider.

1. By default, Firefox will always save your downloads into the
downloads folder on your computer without prompting you for a save as
location. The advantage of this is that you will always know where your
files went when you grab them from the share. If you would like to be
prompted where to save the files you download from the share, consider
going to Tools, Options, and under the General options (General in the
combo box), tab until you hear "downloads" and select the radio button
to be prompted where to save the file.

2. If you like to make use of the JAWS cursor while on the Internet,
you will want to disable hardware acceleration. Again, Tools, Options,
Select Advanced from the combo Box, and then on the General Tab, uncheck
"Use Hardware Acceleration when available".

Hope that helps,
Brad Martin
