Hi Maggi. New to FF myself. I have found things can vary from FF session to FF session. Will be in learning mode for a while. Wish I had insight to share.

There's a Combo box that lists categories: General, tabs, Content, Applications, Privacy, Security, Sync, and Advanced. If you select Advanced in this combo box, then press the Tab Key, there are a series of Tabs that you can move between with Control Tab. These tabs are: General tab, Data Choices tab, Network tab, Updates tab, and Certificates tab. It is this General Tab that you want. Note that I'm using Firefox version 29.0.1.
