to make the status line appear. You can still get to the view menu
with alt-v in Office 2010 but just now I couldn't quickly figure out
where this option appears in the ribbon. You might want to experiment

Assuming you're using a laptop computer, the command is JAWS key
plus page
down. Depending on the lap top model, the page down is usually on
the far
right hand side. The JAWS key is the caps lock, if you're in the
lap top
layout.
