well, once again i will state... i am only having this problem in
thunderbird. incert 3 works perfectly in every other program. this
happened after a thunderbird update. if anyone else is having this
problem in thunderbird, root jaws to pc and read the bottum of the
window. it will give you the message number information in what ever
folder you are in.

Hi, I have found that the real killer is those "updates" from good old

Today it works, tommorrow it doesn't and then next day all is well?
You begin to think that perhaps someone slipped in some of that funny grass?
Insert numpad 1 used to tell me what folder I was in when using Outlook 2007
but now it may or may not.

I have win 7 and jaws 15. After I rebooted I was able to access the status
bar with insert 3 on the numb pad in both word and outlook express. As I've
noticed over the past week with things like jaws voices and a frew other
things different computers with the same programs interact with jaws
differently. In some cases things other users do with the same equipment on
a constant basis can't be duplicated on my computer with the same programs.

Assuming you're using a laptop computer, the command is JAWS key plus
page down. Depending on the lap top model, the page down is usually
on the far right hand side. The JAWS key is the caps lock, if you're
in the lap top layout.

How do you access the command for the status line I used to get with
jaws key 3 on the numberical key pad?
