Hello Judith, Trying to navigate using Jaws is a never-ending learning curve, so much so, they should call it a learning circle because that is how I feel sometimes. If I have not forgotten how to do it because I have not done it for months, they have changed the procedure. I doubt if anyone thinks you are stupid because we have all been there, and are still learning ourselves. Once you click on "voices," you are given two choices, which you locate by arrowing up or down: Voice Adjustment... Select a Voice Profile... Although the first option doesn't state "profile," when you press enter, you land on the list of profiles in your system. Perhaps if you have only one profile, this list isn't apparent. Otherwise, you select the desired profile by arrowing up or down. Go into the JAWS context menu with JAWS key+j, press enter on options, then arrow down to voices. Press enter again. Here, select adjust voice profile, then select the relevant profile. Start tabbing. You'll come across the setting you want. Once selected, be sure to continue tabbing to OK, or possibly apply, then OK.
