To unzip or extract from a zipped file: 1. Open the context menu
using application key or right mouse click button (Jaws key+ 8 on number
key pad)
2. Select "extract" from the context menu or press "T"
3. Tab through the dialog and select extract or press Alt +E. This will
place the extracted or unzipped file in whatever folder the original zipped
file is already in. If you want it to appear elsewhere, you can select a
different option when you tab through the extract dialog .
In summary, the short cut is:
application key, then letter "T", then alt+E.
Jaws announces extraction progression until it is 100 percent completed.

Subject: How to unzip a file?
OK. Totally embarrassed here. I thought I knew how to do this in Windows 7,
but today at least I'm stumped.
I have downloaded a file which is zipped. How do I unzip it? Everything I've
done so far hasn't worked.
Thanks in advance. Keith
