Hi, Ann. Pressing Enter on a zip file usually does not unzip the file. it only opens it so you can see the contents of the file. To actually unzip the file, one must press the Applications key, arrow to Extract All, follow the dialogue boxes, and wait for the file to be extracted.

there is an item in the application menu that will unzip a folder.
