Review Comment:
   I have two questions here:
   1) I understand that in this case, we don't want to retry the request based 
on the response handling but we prefer to reset the timer to trigger the next 
auto commit immediately. Am I right?
   2) I don't see where we instantiate any `RetriableCommitFailedException` 
errors. It seems that the only place where we do this is in the 
`OffsetCommitCallbackTask`. Do we ever it this condition? I am a bit puzzled...
