Stephane Croisier commented on JAHIA-3595:
------------------------------------------

I just installed the SP4 Hotifx.

Unzipping Jahia from the tar.gz took me 2 minutes. Launching Jahia and
completing the full configuration wizard until I see the home page of a newly
created site took me less than 3 minutes.

I am currently spending more than 15 minutes (I will exactly claculate) to
install Andromeda with exactly the same configuration (PG until I see the home
page of a newly created site).

my AVG is nearly doing nothing on the SP4 during the reboot of Jahia. On
Andromeda it is eating 100% of the CPU for several minutes. So the deployement
and installation process changed. I do not know what we are doing right now
(recopying files?). This is perhaps due to the dozen of thousands of GWT/GXT
files. I do not know. But the first user experience is far, far more longer on
Andromeda.

Up to you to find why and to see if an optimization of the installation and
configuration process is possible.

> Installation: anti-virus (AVS) is now taking a lot of time (several minutes)
> during the config wizard

> I have AVG anti-virus installed on my server. At the end of the config
> wizard, AVG is taking all my CPU time for several minutes. Why? This was not
> the case with Jahia 5.0. Perhaps due to the new config wizard deployement
> process or to GWT:
