GWT does generate a lot of files, that's just the way it works. There are two
kind of files : the javascript files, which are needed and cannot be reduced,
and the resources.
We will try to reduce the number of files by putting all the common resources
in a shared place, but in the mean time when internationalization is over we
will have a lot more script files, since the GWT logic is to have one script
for each language and each browser.
So basically with a 6 language translation we'll have 6 times the number of
script files we have now.
In the end, we'll have to live with this. Just consider all the benefits GWT
brings to the UI, while one is not supposed to install Jahia every day.
And by the way, using Avast instead of AVG (both are free) can also be another
solution.
