Clement Egger commented on JAHIA-3595:
--------------------------------------
My remarkss were not an accusation upon gwt himslef. just a count to understand
why there are so many files now in andromeda compared to v5.
By the way, two or three things you should consider
1/ I install Jahia everyday, and so do our partenrs when they are in
development phase.
2/ You can't know wich antivirus the client will use. The "replace your
antivirus" is never a good answer, becauise if you tel that to La Poste ou
Veolia or the Minefi, they will at best laugh at you, and at worste treat you
as a fool... they just have more than 100.000 PC's, trust me they won't change
their policies and software versions just for Jahia.
3/ like Stephane pointed at, the problem is the perception it gives to anyone
willing to test Jhaia for the first time. It looks like being very slow,
copared to older versions that were very impressive because you could install
that in 3 minutes. Ask to the sales guy how this simple fact makes a stunning
impression on the prospects and how many clients were seduced by this small
thing, you will be surprised.
> Installation: anti-virus (AVS) is now taking a lot of time (several minutes)
> during the config wizard

> I have AVG anti-virus installed on my server. At the end of the config
> wizard, AVG is taking all my CPU time for several minutes. Why? This was not
> the case with Jahia 5.0. Perhaps due to the new config wizard deployement
> process or to GWT:
