I've noted this twice too. To me and everyone who's played with my Jive the current action is wrong. I am a little perplexed as to why it has been developed in this way. Even after using it for a few months I still find I am occasionally surprised by the result of pressing the > button.
The is the only facet that worries me about the georgeous Jive remote. I feel that most of the other points made by users here are obvious and likely to be addressed over time, but if the hardware is released with this serious flaw at it's heart the device will always be "not quite right". I am still amazed by it each time I use it though. How is it that the performance is so much better than both the web gui and the normal remote?
