I had SC 7 running on a server when I turned on the controller. The setup was essentially automatic and painless for me except for attempting to type in the wlan security string - I have a long one with lots of upper/lower/special characters so lots of "wheeling" around. I managed to mess it up a couple of times (been a couple months since I've setup a wireless device and I messed up the capitalization and then managed to delete some characters, etc. I don't have multiple segments (as someone else reported issues with) so I didn't really have to do anything else but not pick my neighbor's wlan.
