The Jive Hardware Beta wheel is only a simple mechanical wheel, only
registering clockwise or counterclockwise movement.
I don't think you could (or would want to) try mapping center/Go,
left/Back, or Home to any LS letters, and it would be handy to have Add
and Play available for playlist manipulation. It might be possible to
use the lower buttons (VolDown, VolUp, Rew, Pause, Fwd) to map to
different groups of letters, and have LazySearch make two indexes (one
telephone/IR remote; the other Jive buttons), though. The search
display could reserve space at the bottom of the screen to show the
mapping, e.g.

(ABCDE) (FGHIJ)
(KLMNO) (PQRSTU) (VWXYZ)
--------------------
but I don't know how good searches would be with half as many letter
groups as the IR LazySearch searches.
