You mean the bit that says "Restart SqueezeCenter. This will
automatically download the latest Jive firmware (currently r1388)"?

I would do that (in fact I've tried on many occasions), but the simple
fact is that SqueezeCenter on my system stopped downloading new Jive
firmwares several weeks ago. The latest firmware in my SqueezeCenter
folder is r915, dated 16th Nov 2007.
I've even tried removing the jive_1_r915.bin and jive.version files out
of the Cache directory and restarting SqueezeCenter, but still no new
firmware is downloaded. (And before you ask, yes I do have
SqueezeCenter set to check for updates, and I have updated to the
latest nightly build).

I posted a question at the time asking why this had stopped working,
but never got to the bottom of it. Since then, the Jive has obtained
its firmware updates over the net (presumably directly from Slim
Devices), and I just lived with it.

So I'm stuck at this point. Any suggestions?
