OK, I am running the nightly from 12th Jan 2008. Via the SqueezeCenter settings web page, I switched player.firmware logging to Info, and then restarted SqueezeCenter.
Which log file should I be looking at? In \Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\logs, I see a file called "server.log", but it has a modified date of 16th Nov 2007. Is there another log file I should expect to see? Interestingly, in the same folder, there's a file called "log.conf", which I would guess holds the current log settings. And yet, on my system it has a modified date of 6th Nov 2007. That would suggest that the logging changes I made via the web interface haven't been recorded. And indeed, going back into the Advanced tab in the web interface, I see that the player.firmware setting is back to "warn", as it was before. I'm wondering if possibly my SqueezeCenter installation has got into some sort of weird state.
