I've did stop using the controller for a while, it was unreliable and at times totally unusable. However I've recently gone back to using it and come to the conclusion that there really isn't anything better out there for controlling a SB, at the moment. As I've said on other messages, so apologies for the repetition, I wish Slim had kept it more simple and focused on the primary features. I really don't need three clocks and Flickr when search and scrolling are still so clunky. And I also wish they had kept the hardware simpler and the cost down. There's no need for a built-in DAC, I don't need another player, especially one that is too big and with poor battery life. The accelerometer really is extraneous technology, I have no use for it whatsoever beyond its initial novelty value. A bigger touch screen would have been a better component to spend money on IMO. Having said all that, I have decided to order a receiver to complete the combination, but would I have bought a controller for my SB if I hadn't been on the beta program?
