This would make it a lot easier for people that aren't used to searching in the bug tracking system. As long as the search are limited to a specific target release I also think that the lists might be reasonable long. In my opinion it is better to register a duplicate instead of not registering someting at all. Logitech has people that looks at the received bugs and these will pretty quickly be able to remove duplicates. Of course it is always a good idea to do a simple search for the bug first, but if I don't find anything in this simple search I usually register it and let someone else remove it in case it is a duplicate. You will need to enter the description in both cases, so the difference is just that you will have the select some other attributes in list boxes when registering it as a bug/enhancement. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41024 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
